About Us

Who we are

Mino Care, formally known as Mommy Monitor Incorporated has rebranded to better reflect the community that we serve. Mino is a term in the Fon Language which means “Our Mothers”. It was used to describe the Dahomey Amazons, who were an all female military regiment of the Kingdom of Dahomey (Benin). Although the Mino did not have their own children, they were viewed as warriors, advocates, protectors, care givers and mother figures to their communities- and as Mino Care, this is our commitment to you.
